I hear it's been a blood bath at the Houston area product centers this week. 20 at HPC yesterday, 47 more at SRC today. Any idea how many in Sugarland and Rankin Rd?

If rankin rd laid off more than 100 I would assume Ponca city is next.
Over 100 at Rankin Road, including myself. Doesn't matter if you've only been there 6 months or 20 years, they will kick you out the door. Huge overreaction on their part - this will come back to bite them in the ass later.
The classic Schlumberger ruthless approach to their people - that they consider themselves as a "people" company is a total joke

I got done from HPS in Sugar Land and I believe they got rid of 200 over the last two days. Talking to a Norwegian buddy of mine over here who also works in Sugar Land and he told me a woman with 22 years service was out the door before he even noticed she was gone! Ruthless bastards, absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional and handled terribly.
