I'm hearing from and about folks who were laid off from SLB and now have better jobs and/or a better situation all around. Since those remaining at SLB are in fear and morale sucks, why don't they just get the layoffs over with so folks can get their severance and move on with their life?

"No one" is a very broad term. There are companies outside of SLB, Baker, and Halliburton. You just have to look.
So where are the jobs that these people who are laid off getting? Any names? I thought no one was hiring?

For those who are not connected -instead of being afraid to come to work every day, spit in the face of your corrupt manager and their corrupt manager and ask them to lay u off unless you are 100% sure that s/he is not corrupt. this is what I did! because I am not that useless as they are.
