Engaged employees stay for what they give (they like their work); disengaged employees stay for what they get (favorable job conditions, growth opportunities, job security).

Learning from the top! Learning from an abusive experience. Learning from rubble of my colleagues crushed careers. Learning a lot of negative lessons. We're paid to be disengaged. Management will set up the comp plan that will encourage the work product they desire. I work to earn what I receive. I hate the exec team for changing my work focus and destroying my work environment.
I came to Follett over a year ago and I have never seen a harder working group of people committed to each others success of common goals --------- NOT!

Perhaps it would help if Follett read this article. It might be nice if they tried some of these things, like "keep promises" and "create a productive work environment".
disengaged. Look out for yourself only; no one will act as a helper, this adventure is yours alone, noble hero.
Dude, you get what you pay for. Follett EARNED this by treating the employees like crap.
Looks like we are going to be bombarded with junk posts again
