looks like you are wrong. They just increased all the goals by about 25%. Feels more like they were worried they might have to pay out so they changed the numbers.

Just heard from a buddy that still runs a Follett rat-hole. $10 million store is down $400,000 for August.

Plummeting big time. Sales are just diving into a free all.

I don't think so this year. They will lower the plan if necessary to achieve bonus. They are worried about losing the new hires. Did you ever wonder why the plan is never communicated? So it can change if necessary.

The great news is that Follett is paying living wages down in their Dominican locations, much higher than minimum wage. Weird they laid off 800+ US full time workers and replaced them with part time workers at minimum wage. Follett family should be really proud in what this company has become.

A plan must be less than year. How about a five year plan? Everyone seems so concerned about their bonus, their promotion, hiring friends for VP's positions but not service workers. The new web site obviously is geared toward locking in students financial aid funds, much of that is students loans we have to pay back. It took an act of congress to get book information in time to shop for books which saved us hundreds per semester, legal suits have already been filed and fought so students can decide where to make purchases with their financial aid. More to come. Students need jobs when they graduate. Follett is firing/laying off US citizens and giving the jobs to other countries with US government financial funds paid for by US citizens. Follett seems to like global options for cheap apparel and labor but likes to keep students in isolation for their options. The company has lost sight of who is their major customer.

Good thing the new leaders learned one thing very quickly. Bonus must be based on plan, and plan must be less than last year. They quit saying who allows a plan less than last year results and bonus less than last year are not earned. Unfortunately it came after screwing our division that earned a bonus by exceeding every target we had, but did not receive it because of the dead college bookstore industry. You wait and see, they will keep adjusting plan as necessary. This is a good thing but very hypocritical.

Not cool, but not a real surprise.

You'll make it up in Nutella sales as the year progresses.

You're the difference.
