Wow, can you people stop complaining already and just get out? I was RIF'd in March, stayed home till June and have been contracting ever since. more more money and great places to work. Follett has got nothing going for them The market is hot!!!!! Most of you are worthy and employable, LEAVE. Follet is problem the worst family owned company ever. They should have done there homework better. LEAVE!!!!

Yes, some are being positioned to get better jobs elsewhere. I wonder how much of a joke they'll actually be when they take on management level positions at other companies and people figure out they don't know a thing? They have performed a serious "dummy down" when awarding management level positions. Jenny Condon left because she recognized how f***ed up the culture was and how cliques of dummies run things.
don't expect packages. They've worked hard to avoid packages. If you're long enough (in service) expect to be ridden out. They don't want your salary. They don't want to pay to have you leave, either. Try to sue them and they'll happily pay a lawyer to fight you. If you want to leave, assume you'll get nothing.
The best way to get back at this F'd up company is to get the hell out. Mary Lee and her wrecking crew are grinding the company into the ground. Get out while you can. Who gives a crap anymore? Even the new people from staples and kmart think the company is a big joke. Everyone, especially the senior VP's are just out for quick cash. They are already looking for their next gravy train.

Good and SMART companies know this. Honesty and a buyout offer two years ago is what SMART companies would have done, it would have been beneficial for the company and the people who help double the company in the past twenty years. Instead employees got nothing but lies and abuse, major abuse. I am happy to hear all who moved on and are doing well and to those that were lied to and are continually being treated horribly I am not going to judge them for their understandable behavior. This leadership has no compassion so they shouldn't except any "feelings" its all business right? A different level but it still the same "business" mentality. They consider employees no different than any another physical device, so they should not be looked upon as people either just as means to cover ones bills and hopefully add to personal retained earnings.
Going through the motions. The weird thing is my check is the same now that I work 7.5 hours as it was when I worked 12? Industrial disease.
Waiting to be RIF'd. Will to volunteer to be RIF'd. Hopefully they offer buyouts soon. Until then I will collect my check each week.
