Missed the boat a long time ago. With all the creative competition out there we are done. For to long they knew best.

- You are trying to make us drink the kool-aid? New categories? Sure. Hope you aren't speaking of dept 7. Or 8. How about some men's socks. You know they wear them too.
Be realistic, students are on tight budgets they can barely afford books. They live in maybe a 6 by 8 room, if they are lucky. The rational that they are going to buy extras, maybe occasionally for quality, they already have overloaded closets and no floor space. My estimation is Follett has lost fairly close to the numbers reported by sears/Kmart or soon will. They have said the gate is open the past two years. There is nothing stored up in the barn so a gate open to an empty barn they are safe in promising anything. Just another ploy until its outsource. The previous post by the student is spot on, their focus has not been on innovation and service to their customers its on controlling and capitalizing on government funding. Those days are slipping away as fast as snow melts by April.
Sales decline is only temporary. New categories will compensate for the text decline.
Oh yes. They know best. Tell us please what they know. Because most of this crap can be found in the dollar store.
Haha haha ha. There is no ship turning around. Are you kidding? Sales are down.
Follett is the Costa Concordia. Run a ground while ML is worried about the getting Follett in the newspaper, instead of focusing on customers.
The "SHIP" is running aground.
They brought in the KMarters and others outside the industry who REALLY know best. This ship is turning aroud, but it takes time.
Did it say cut more payroll?
LOL, catch up, they are losing ground every day. Family should be selling now before it is too late.
A hamburger sounds great right about now...
what did the hamburger say to the tomato?
