Call in sick. You have sick time. Do it nationally or do it regionally. Unite. Show them you're smart, you're organized and you're powerful. Pick a normally slow day, for the first round of sick. If they don't bend a bit, the next round of sick happens when they can't afford it.
Listen, they're crippling you and it's their choice. After they work their "magic", you have to clean up. They're going to be pissed. Once you take control of your time, the power dynamic changes. Hey, you get paid anyhow (sick time).
Quit being passive. Take direct action against the people who are slowing stealing your paychecks. Do you want them to have your paychecks and your family time, too. They're coming after it! It's time to fight back.
So much for work life balance. We have to stick it to the man!
Did you not see this coming? You cannot cut people left and right and not expect someone to have to pick up the slack. I effed off from Follett and started my own biz and now work 10-12 hours a day, but at least I get to keep all the money.
still trolling because i feel for you all
Our salaried managers are now required to work a minimum of 55 hours a week! During rush 65-70 hour a week. Legally they can require us to work as many hours as they want. Say good bye to your kids soccer games and dinner with your family those days are over!
You hire the kmart leaders and this is what you get, smaller kmart stores. Understaffed stores and overstaffed home office.
