I LOVE my campus. And want to do the best job. I cannot speak to how things are in Westchester. In the stores we have NO idea what the direction is. If you're depending on your RM's and SVP's to get the word out. It is NOT working.

The interesting thing is that the less she communicates, the more I ask around. I've learned lots of things that I would never have found out if ML had just been more open and honest. The lack of communication has brought secrets into the open.
Many employees used to love the job and the company and now are unhappy and likely on the way out one way or the other.
They are all working on short term bonuses and all decisions are driven to achieving a bonus, even if it impacts the longer term of Follett.
If they don't communicate, perhaps they believe the success of their 1.5 years of leadership can't be measured.
I'm sorry, Don G is on the hook for this, although ML could certainly push it. Direction was always sent from Tom C and his team, the leaders of the FHEG division (that is what leaders do). Corporate president was always behind the scenes doing the "corporate" things - we all know what the corp office was known for.

Perhaps you don't know, but Don Germano is your president and leader for the retail division just as we have one as FSS. He needs to establish your direction and take tactical action to accomplish those goals.
It is not just the stores or home office that have no clue what you are doing. maybe you could share with everyone. Town hall meetings with people whose last name start A, B, or C just don't cut it. As far as I can tell, there is no plan, except maybe to pretend everything is going well.
