People in IT make fun of her behind her back. She talks a good talk but in the end, people who really know, know, she doesn't have a f#cking clue.
AS is a joke. She wouldn't be a manager at a real ecommerce focused company. Goes to show its who all about who you know and what you know (or in this case, what info your husband feeds you).
The site now has more images of Blacks. Why? Blacks are avid consumers, and Follett is desperately trying to reach that demographic.
They have two choices. Don't promote and watch the employees leave prior to the migration to Infosys/Tatas etc. Or promote just to keep the few remaining not to leave. The cost of a promotion is peanuts and it keeps the systems going until they don't need you anymore.
Who doesn't get promoted on efollett side? What a joke. You'd think they were splitting the atom. It is a glorified shopping cart for 17% of sales. And they don't fill orders or even charge the customers.

eFollett will always be a servant to the brick and mortar stores. Without the brick and mortar stores feed customers to them, they would be getting there ass kicked just like SKYO.
eFollett outlook: 1. short term is bleak. 2. Long term is worthless.
