Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Severence?

How much severence pay did people get? One week per year with Follett or one week for every vacation week?

I had only been with Follett for 2 years so I got 2 weeks severance plus a little bit of vacation. Not much.

Typical is one week per year plus vacation payout. Use your personal and sick days first, folks!

Laid off at home office. One week for each year with Follett. Paid out vacation. Treated like crap for the entire process and was with Follett 9 years.

I was at my store for 22 years. We were outsourced to Follett the last 4 years. They gave me 4 weeks severance pay (1 week per year with Follett)plus paid out the vacation time that I had on the books. Hardly a drop in the bucket for 22 years of service and to be tossed out like trash. I am a 45 year old female that had stellar appraisals and was at the top of the pay scale.
