You need to get with 556 and 3808 and lock down FL market. You guys have got so much leverage and really do not realize it. No DC can take on that much extra freight to cover these areas during a Peak Season strike. This is why Target goes to great length to try and stop an Union. Take one out of the own book. Why are hourly employees paid higher where there is more minorities? This is not the same for salary workers at these locations. Why is Packers paid less (Typically a woman's job), then the guy jobs. There job is just as tough as most of the warehouse jobs. Take this information and use it well. I care about the workers more than the stock price.

3802 has been talking to teamsters. We hope to set up more meetings, and are looking into getting an anonymous website for cross-key communications for 3802 and hopefully 579. To communicate meetings times, and plans w/o the spying eyes.

Whatever dto is sugar coating this is from hq. A-hole bastard. Here at 3808 we have had several meetings with union reps. We are in this for the long haul. Noones job is safe anymore unless you work at HQ. Is there a way to communicate annonomously? Trust is hard to earn until results are seen. We need at least an area locked in for being union to affect target. Flat would be a great place to start.

Another ex DTO tech here, and yes we were screwed in January. Definitely feel bad for the logistics teams and the loss of jobs. At least there is the opportunity to post into other positions and there is some notice that the jobs are being eliminated. We were cut with no warning and no opportunity to go back into warehousing roles.

If I was still there I certainly wouldn't feel too safe with the way things have been going. Hope the job situation is ok where you are, fellow former DTO tech.

To those still at Target, good luck with any union efforts. Target is only going to look out for itself, you should do the same for you and your family.

I was a DTO Tech and really got hosed back January. What I would do is start an unionization web site. Like www.targetunioncard.com, kind of a catchy site name. Have it where teammates can go in secret and talk with one another. Get some really go union contacts and message boards. Maybe like a support field so teammates will know how much support is at their site. If T3802 and T0579 go in together, it would be much more leverage over the Northeast region. There is no loyalty with this company. Look at the post back in January on this site. We heard the Logistics rumor and per the rumor Repack is next. Union is the only protection. Target does not care. Too many Karl Riebs and Jeff Maders at this company.
