Unofficial official layoff report

No major layoffs this past week. Total since 6/1/2016 remains at 24,336. If O disagrees with thus number, publish the official one.

O’s future is not getting better so keep looking folks, keep looking.

So in other words, any day now oracle will be down to the 3 lying stooges and a monkey pretending to run cloud from a DC in LE’s garage

“So one's experience will vary. O is definitely weeding out the unneeded skillsets in favor of the current/modern ones.”

The only skill set they need is to go around and b---s--- how good their cloud is. They’ve the stooges for that.

At least you're not pumping up the numbers this time.

O's future is good for the new hires within the last 2 years. Big sign-ons, base, and RSUs.

So one's experience will vary. O is definitely weeding out the unneeded skillsets in favor of the current/modern ones.

While interesting to track the cumulative number of layoffs, why don't you also post the new hire numbers and headcount from acquisitions? Oracle is at ~138K and not a net loss over 3 years, so they're not reducing the overall headcount but replacing people (presumably with younger people).

It’s not numbers from 3 years ago; it’s the cumulative number of people laid off during the last 3 years. Big difference people working at a tech company should not have difficulties understanding

Seriously curious. Why are you posting numbers from over 3 years ago?
