He must think every day with his salary is a bonus. He is a talentless imbecile who destroyed my business which I started from nothing. Something given infinity he could never do. Doesn't reply to my emails to his PA or any acknowledgment.

The deficet is sky rocketing. Most of the millennials were not old enough to see what happened. They watched their parents go through it. Keep drinking the Dary-@ss cool aid. It is coming- protect your 401k. It will take 10 years to recover.
Wall Street wants cash. That's it. Doesn't care what you to do get it- sell products, sell assets, cut expenses. And they don't care about the future because they can always drop you a rock and move to another stock. In the short term much easier to cut. The big WS firms determine where the stock price goes. Do what they want and they will promote your stock.
it depends what your goal is, Wall Street or Main Street.
If your goal is to squeeze all you can from a company and keep the stock price high, regardless of the human costs or impact on dismantling a one reliable US employer (Wall Street) then someone like him is A-OK. He might even do a decent job of keeping the company focused on future revenue streams for the future.
If you are looking to build engagement and a high quality work environment that maximizes the talent and potential of employees that it values, and building a strong reliable employer and powerhouse company in the US (Main Street), then, clearly he is not your man.
I think it's pretty clear what he's setting out to do and you can sure Wall Street will love him for it.

I retired last month after 30 years of service. And I thought that Coty was bad! A once great company totally going down the tubes due to greedy management!!!
I think it was 2014 when Darius furloughed us on the chance of not making our 4th quarter numbers. Instead, we over performed and he got a fat promotion to CEO. Furloughs in 2015 too. So glad to be out of the snake pit.

Darius is ruthless. When introduced to staff he does not like he has the reputation of informing their managers he wants them gone. Cleaned house after Cote.
What a mo--nic post. Entire market was up Friday, with many record highs. Has nothing to do specifically to Hon. You think it's all unicorns and rainbows? Stock price keeps growing the past several years because of constant cuts including small and large layoffs, mandated overtime working free of charge, avoiding indirect charging, attrition not being replaced with sufficient numbers of new grads to transfer knowledge of the vast number of baby boomers about to leave in +/-5 years. So many warning signs.
The changes made in Honeywell's organizations over the last 10 or so years have done more to crush innovation and personal initiative than any place I've worked in 40+ years. Darius talks out of both sides of his mouth.
Wall St loves him. Older employees ... not so much. Maybe ruthless leadership that chucks older employees and outsources vigorously makes for a good business and a good investment. Doesn't mean the employees have to like it. If you don't work for HON you wouldn't understand. Be a gracious winner and don't gloat.
