You will be executing company orders and culling staff. It’s company orders so I appreciate you don’t have a choice.
Given I have nearly 20 years service in this company, I will give you some advice. Today it’s them, tomorrow it’s you.
There is a hidden policy in this company where they absolutely understand having the hatchet man around after the culling is negative for staff morale and productivity. And for those sceptics thinking WTF, yes they do care when it suits them.
In 20 years I have not seen a single manager who did cuts survive. To the Chorley people ask yourself where is FH and all her cronies? Every UK&I VP got fired in Lawrie’s reign too.
So treat your staff with respect, if you can afford them some breaks and not completely screw them over do it because your next.
