OCI sounds like same-old, same-old Oracle.

S---s to work at Oracle, no matter where you are.

OMG - please wake up and smell the coffee - the only thing, let me repeat, the only thing that matters at oracle is kissing the 3 Stooges’ asses and like sh--, this a-- kissing flows down to every nook of the org, OCI included - this where you strive to kiss LE a-- but first you have to get really, really good at kissing his a---kissers asses. Enjoy!

Lol, oci is culture f-- which can’t stand to its own elite ‘oci values’. Full of nepotism, bullying, jerks and politics. People have complained and thrashed DJ and his management on multiple forums, all of which are bluntly ignored by oci management.

I was lied in on my way to oci. I was looking for a change from my previous company, not able to tolerate toxic env and politics. My hiring manager in oci(my current director) said, “We are building cloud 2.0, We don’t make same mistakes as others, we will be 10 years ahead of competition, we will have better culture, no politics, no jerks, no bad managers..”and so on.

And now I understand true meaning of those statements and feel embarrassed for naively believing him. I feel my previous team in other company was way better than here.

It’s everywhere and pretty ugly in oci. Low bar in promoting some directors and vps. If you can’t s-ck up your chain, you are the one mostly get layoffed/Riffed.

When the Mom (DI) is a director at an Oracle cloud hub location, and the daughter is hired with no experience at another Oracle cloud hub, is this nepotism? What if your kiddo is a Cloud Success Manager, helping customers implement OCI with no benefits to customers or Oracle?

Seriously, you're asking if there's politics at Oracle? Are you just moving to this planet ? Oracle treats everyone fairly, above board, no discrimination, has ethics, integrity and all of the customers love us....

Left while ago, but would like to know that too. Just don’t leave personal info, otherwise, web admins will nuke the whole thread.
