Of course, I am talking about a real announcement that goes beyond general corporate bull about adopting new technologies, exploring new markets etc. Why don’t they just announced what parts of the company they don’t see i the future. Would be more fair to the workers, and the leadership would have enough time to implement that while giving the employees a chance to go where they’re wanted.

I gave up on them and quit (called it retirement) years ago. I just hope they can keep on paying my meager pension.
Because there is no identifiable future st Honeyhell as it is today.
Thus company will be split up and fold off of bought out outright sooner than any 5 year plan.
The bright side is that's better for the employee than to stay status quo.
Wake up and smell reality. There's nothing "fair" about working for a large corporation. They'll only tell you what they think you should know
