What is being said about this branding? What is this all about and what's between the lines here?

Pure garbage company. Don't stay in or even think of joining unless you want your life, blood and health drained out of you. Blood s---ing old mosquitoes have been promoted to the ranks of directors and VPs. If you are in, find a way out quickly. If you are out, stay clear of this garbage company.
What a self serving, scripted, crock of BS this is. Rah Rah Rah ooooo we're suuuuch a good company. As a 40+ year employee I can tell you this is complete bull. We are a shadow of what we used to be. All the qualified talent is gone along with any basic benefits. If this place wants to get and retain good employees it need to act like it wants them and return to a normal benefits package. The problem is HW treats all employees as liabilities. It thinks anybody with an education can be thrown in the deep end and tread water indefinitely. Without employee retention this place is sunk, or as I see is almost under already - Just doing my job and chillin till retirement
same thing going on with the "career chats". retention, retention, retention.
honeywell is having serious retention problems and they cant hire new candidates unless they pay above market. average engineer candidate thinks honeywell builds thermostats and orbiting fans sold at target. leadership seems to think that earnest "testimonials" are inspirational and will keep engineers .
