Band 4 MIP for Aero Engineering was reduced to 5% 2 years ago for principle, Staff and low level managers. Have to be Director level to get 15%.
Band 4 MIP bonus can range from 10-20%. Those at 5% were typically grandfathered from acquisitions
Salary can go over $200k in USA as I have seen employees at this level and were not quite to the maximum of the range for the role.
Band 5. The sky is the limit and they now call it E-band and eliminated band 5,6,7,8....
China $11,000 US annual, India $12,000 US, Romania $12,000 US all depending on FX currency fluctuations. The US staff has restructuring cost built in for next quarters RIF to burden peers at 60 hours a week while telling remaining contributors that they are back filling the band 4 when in reality it will be off shored to low cost region. Get ready for the conference call after work with regions until you pass out from exhaustion.....just mute you line.
There are different range band 4s the same as with band 3s. Salaries are all over the place. It depends on the position, the SBG, length of time with the company, your boss - as well the region, as salary differs by country and (in the US) by state. Covers some individual contributors, managers, senior managers, directors, and senior directors. Execs are band 5 VPs and above. MIP is 5 - 15% for individual band 4s through directors depending on position. Can go as low as the 60s/70s for the low end of the range (ind/mgr) to 200+ for the highest end of the range (sr dir). Plus MIP. Some box 1s/2s can get stock options and retention bonuses for "mission critical' positions, especially at the top of the food chain. Good luck trying to figure it all out.
Trick question there are no band 4's. Only executives and perma-3's
