Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Not the whole picture

This board is very slanted to the GIS/XBS events and understandably so in light of the recent HCL transactions.

But the Xerox issues, and layoff implications are much broader than XBS. It’s clear that the big picture is hard to grasp, especially when the effects are so personal.

According to the Wipro career website, there are about 22 jobs posted for Webster, NY

Not sure how many but the few XIM folks that I know were rebadged to Wipro. I do not recall seeing any communication on that.

Clear that most on this site are XBS and don’t know about XIM or any other parts of the corporation.

What is happening with XIM?

There’s much more going on than “xerox direct” and GIS/XBS.

The whole place is a sad mess. Even so, would be good to hear from other parts of Xerox that expect layoffs or have had recent layoffs.

Most changes at Xerox Direct occurred within 2018. So far this year, the focus of the changes has been centered around XBS. If you look on this message board 12 months ago, it was all about Direct changes and people retiring early because they were concerned their pensions wouldn't be available.

12 Months ago, Xerox Direct was a fledgling division of Xerox without a plan.

12 Months ago, XBS/GIS was the ONLY growing division of Xerox with industry-leading profit margins and dedicated staff.

Today, Xerox Direct is gone

Today, GIS is gone and XBS is the shell that remains.
