To all the left over people thinking they are lucky or that they will continue there for ever, or who think people who were laid off due to performance issues etc, please note that Oracle doesn't care a c-ap for any one of you left there. Most of their products expect the Database are a piece of c-ap and are hardly used by customers outside.. start ups etc. are better focused to release highly scalabale and managed Cloud services.. Lucky are those who find better jobs and get out of this place before they get axed! Good Luck I am a 10 year old veteran who worked 18 hours a day and was axed on March 21

Where else can you go as you are getting older?
"cuts are always based on company's performance and never on individual's. "
For chrissakes, this is complete nonsense. But keep telling yourselves that, if it makes you get thru the day.
"I am a 10 year old veteran ..."
Must have been hard to work all those hours due to child-labor laws?
You don't even have a grasp of basic English writing. I hope your excuse is ESL.
cuts are always based on company's performance and never on individual's. unfortunately it helps mgmt to play their favourite game of musical chair in the team. dumbsness of all in mgmt makes it worst.
I am from APAC, I worked for few years . Few VPs are so selfish and they bring their own people who are unskilled and incapable. This company is in down fall.
