This is my first time ever in a company that doesn't give increment... wtf seriously.

If you're good, and have marketable skills, look around. Update LinkedIn, connect with AIG alumni who now work elsewhere, and set up job agents at Dice, Indeedx etc.
Once I leave, which is soon, I will be taking some of my team with me. If you don't like your situation, make plans to change it. Those who complain and just hope for better days are fooling themselves. Unless you're Indian and have an H1B, as AIG loves those folks, as they're stuck at AIG for the term of their sponsorship and can be worked to burnout levels for less than market pay.
Older "millennial" here.
I've never had an incremental increase in my career - for any company that i've worked for.
I have only received base salary increases by changing employers every two to three years and getting 20-30% bumps every time.
Lucky to say that in my 4.5 years stint with AIG i was given a yearly increment. Not a relevent increase but atleast they increment my base pay.
2016 2%
2017 2%
2018 5%
2019 4%
Not all management received pay increases, just like not all employees received an increase to their base salary. Sorry but this is bullshxxt, I’m sure the ELT were all taken care of just like the new worthless leaders they hired,
I got a 1% raise in my base salary and 90% STI. It's the first raise I have got in 6 years. So basically I have had a decrease in my salary over the last 6 years. Sad. But management who make much more than the working employees all got a raise and that's just not right.
The average AIG worker doesn't matter whether they have been there 2 years or 20. The AIG Execs do care about their pay and receive much more than the rest of the company. I still remember the ZZ Domestic email in 2009 sent to us, the employees, when they complained about their executive pay controlled by Ken Feinberg.
About 1/2 the folks in my overall team received incremental raises this go-around... not much.. about 2%...not sure what’s the deciding factor bc it seams randomly chosen. Of course... management has no explanations...
Ha. Incremental doesn’t exist in AIG
Got 125% of my STI target and a 2-3% salary increase
I've got a minimal base pay increment and STI target movement. As confirmed in WD today.
Not everyone got salary hike this time. One of the manager working on my floor got a pay hike yesterday.
