Today was a big Q1 meeting today...but why were all the middle level managers out today?
Any ideas?

Town-halls meeting and Yammer notifications are the biggest waste of time and resources... with all the other “real” issues the company is facing.

Probably regrouping to do some damage control and making decisions when they are going to proceed with the RIF's. Could also be planning a town hall which don't really tell employees much of anything
Out spending those bonuses would be my guess.
My guess is either they were riffed or they're out interviewing
It's just that these managers usually play a fairly large part in the presentations. We were all told to not be out of the office as quarterly meetings are a relatively big deal..yet all of them were out
Doubt they're doing that they're not that evolved
Maybe trying to do a little damage control and round table discussion regarding that they are heading in the wrong direction and that some of their actions are hurting this company.
