Many companies like to report paying at least some taxes otherwise Wall Street might suspect they are cooking the books (e.g. how can externally reported results be so different from taxable income). IMO, Honeywell’s externally reported results are highly suspect similar to how GE beat earnings estimates every quarter for a decade until the whole house of cards collapsed.
Honeywell is on the new list of highest-paid CEOs at America’s largest companies
Number 38 is Honeywell
• Most recent CEO annual compensation: $19.2 million
• Company: Honeywell International
• Revenue: $40.5 billion
• Number of employees: 131,000

Nice!!!
The USA federal tax code law is established by Congress and enforced by the IRS. Why complain about Honeywell for following what tax law allows? I do the same thing by using every tax deduction and credit allowed on my personal taxes.
They get tax credit in excess of yearly salary paid for Puerto Rico employees (there & US), so get paid $45k credit, pay them $40k, and bill contract $80k.
That's genius work!
You should learn those techniques from Honeywell and emulate ...
I posted this weeks ago from a more legitimate website. Honeywell not ONLY didn't pay any taxes, (for years) they got a TAX REFUND/CREDIT! All while laying off thousands of employees while being hugely profitable.
So lower corporate taxes lead to more jobs????
That's great. If HON had paid 20% taxes we would have had enough RIFs to cover it with interest
