N + 12 is standard, N is 7 days per year worked and 12 is twelve days. Good luck mencho.

Yes the US package is lousy. Other countries pay higher severances.
Which country is that? We got N+2 weeks, not months in USA.
Clarification: N is # of years at Oracle. Max compensation is N+6 or 12 month salary (whichever is lower).
The severance package is N+6 months of salary where N = years of service at Oracle. There is a Max limit on this (N+6 < 12) and also a Max limit on the total compensation amount. Nobody got anything bad N+12 you are just dreaming.
