You still think anyone wish to read your sh--ty codes? Save it man. If Oracle exposes source codes of any products and anyone had ever read those codes would laugh out loud: There can't be any companies having so bad codes in their products around the world

@YVTYFHk-lfy not without risking my team's anonymity. I can only speak in generalizations. They would repeatedly ask for help before putting out any effort to solve their own problems themselves. Several closely related teams all escalated this to our managers because it was really bad.
To the guy who said bad things about CDC Demantra team: can you give me an example of why they are shamefully bad?
The real news here is that the Chinese government will just have to work a little harder to get access to Oracle source code.
Not all of them were hard-working and efficient. My team had some CRAZY RTFM moments with some of the Demantra people there. But it sounds like some of the other teams there may have not been so bad. S---s that layoffs like this just cut everyone, even the good people.

I'm personally aware of some great work done by the CDC team. Hard working and efficient team. Oracle's loss will be someone else's gain.

Ppl from quite some sites say they have had hard time to work with CDC ppl. Language problems and sometimes technical incompetency of CDC ppl hindered the success of many projects they worked on.
They are good employees. A big lost for ORACLE.
