Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Lay Offs getting more callous

Yesterday (4/30) more people laid off in Webster, NY campus Bldg 111. The process is getting more callous, didn’t even provide the usual box to carry out their personal belongings in. May not seem significant but it seems like getting slapped and saying now get your sh-t and get out of here. Must have needed to save money spent on the moving boxes for JohnnyV’s use of a private aircraft.

XIM sorry XDX now has been in the middle of its own outsourcing to Wipro. I would expect cuts to continue. They only gave 90 days for the transition and the cut over is soon. Expect a bumpy ride. They already missed the date for the new support portal roll out

I’m hearing from reliable sources that additional cuts are coming towards the end of the month hitting XBS employees in accounting and upper finance spots Be prepped!!

The layoffs were in XIM and they were direct employees in the IT security area.

Does anyone know if they were at least given severance?

What is anyone’s definition of a “direct” Xerox employee?

Sorry to hear this. Were these people who had already been switched to HCL or were they just direct Xerox employees? Do you know how many people were hit?

Several people I know still at Xerox took many of their personal belongings home, "just in case". Do we know what departments were affected in 111?
