Our DM was passed over yet again for a big promotion. Seems corporate is doing what they do best, forcing people to leave, one way or another. I suspect they "strongly suggested" early retirement.
Look for more of your long term managers to be departing soon. Let's save that money and get more cheaper people in!

Amazon doesn’t have to. They’re just better at what they do. BN talks a big game ( Lencioni trains, being a team,etc) but Amazon runs their company much more efficient with excellent customer service( read “visitor posts” on BB Facebook page. LOTS of customers are unhappy vowing never to patronize BN again)
DMs are actually covert plants by Amazon. There is no was you can have 100 ideas and have them all be bad! You figure one good idea would sneak in there by accident or chance. It's like Kevin Costner in No Way Out. Yuri is the best explanation. There taking us down from the inside.
