Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

WAKE UP GLOBAL IMAGING

Johnny V Stevie B Mikey F

They attacked GIS cause they can't fix traditional Xerox and they want to make lots of money in two years

GIS was not perfect but the cores did $2 Billion with 15% plus ebit plus what FUJI makes

They cut your healthcare

Your 401k

Your offices

On Tuesday many of your coworkers will work for INDIA company HCI NOT INDIANA

Over time those jobs will go away

Presidents will be cut 40 to 20 or less Titles change

Compensation will change for Sales Service all employees

inventory centralized

PROTEST Miss the quarter Delay billing for a few days Don't deliver Don't bill

This does not hurt customers or coworkers Johnny V already did that

Non compete clauses are typically two years and almost never hold up in court. A 5 year non compete will not be enforced by any court, I promise. A 5 day non compete would not hold up in court, especially considering how Xerox went about this. Go back to being independent dealers and take those customers with you

Remember when Dan Cooper left suddenly last year?

He was forced out because he was fighting against Xerox.

I am really disappointed in Global Imaging management, you sat in Tampa and did NOTHING to help stop this madness, you spent so much $ converting us all to EA, we the sister core workers made you super profitable, we've all busted out added over the years and now we are treated like this?????? why is you not protect the people who made you??? Why did you not protect us legally when you decided to sell and have a legal document to make sure we got a fair and decent severence, make sure our raised stayed and our healthcare stay affordable, I just don't see how you all and the horrible leadership at Xerox can sleep at night!!!!

I think there was a comment in an earlier post that XBS/GIS management had to sign a non-compete clause for 5 years? Frankly my thought was the same as ipfd's - for GIS core staff to leave and set up shop in a new company. Having followed the cores' business closely ever since GIS was acquired in 2007, I feel they've been betrayed.

So open an office across the street and sell Ricoh as an independent dealer. I'm pretty sure all your customers will follow

All this stress might cause me to throw up...on March 28th and 29th. Don't let them profit on the dismemberment of GIS.

Use up your Sick days while you still can! My peers and I feel a cough coming on towards the end of the month - oh that’s too bad that will lower the quarterly revenue numbers if we don’t bill it. Hahaha
