Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

The transformation is garbage

The transformation is garbage. All the comments I have read in this post hold some merit. If you aren't a "Yes" man, don't agree with upper management, or care about your co-workers, then you are brushed aside. There is no room in the company anymore for those that use "common sense" or want to jump into something new. Employees are just going thru the motions and struggle day-to-day with lack of maintained equipment as they try to accomplish their work. If you don't like your managers, then just give it time for they will be moved quickly to make room for another who will be worse than the previous.

A little to sarcastic for my taste, but in the essence @XsbiziO-yimb is absolutely right.

Well, that's too bad. It seems like there are many who don't like redundant posts.

Someone thought this post was too good to stay buried and felt it needed its own thread. And I happen to agree with him, it is a good post. Not sure why you mind that, if you’ve already read this, just skip the post and there, problem solved.

Nobody cares about your taste. Just don't post anything if you don't have anything new, copycat!

Stop posting redundant posts. You don't have your own?

All the hapless management is bothered about is their bonus and they treat the staff with utter contempt hidden behind sugared words of false praise. Anything that the non-management staff is forced to do is never for their benefit only to prop up the management bonus...see RIR/SQ reporting for anyone who does not believe this truth.

The transformation did not impress me.....or the woeful share price.

It's been like this here at SHTC STONEHOUSE for the last 8 years, just tick the box and carry on regardless, the bottom line and your managers bonus take priority above all other issues.

Terrible company to work for.
