Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Every worker is unique, and it's time for a workplace solution that gets that.

Can you believe that DXC posted a tweet that says "Every worker is unique, and it's time for a workplace solution that gets that. Put people - not technology - at the focus of your digital workplace. https://dxc.to/2Tu60Vo #ThriveOnChange"

ROSE: I love you, Jack

JACK: No...don’t say your goodbyes, Rose. Don’t you give up. Don’t do it. Things will get better. Didn't you hear what Captain Laurie said from his stock-filled lifeboat? He shouted that it was just a crosswind that had taken us all into a non-GAPP aquisition of a water-based challenge and that such additional pressures, may require an increase in staff offboarding and a re-shaping of our operating framework on the starboard side.

ROSE: I’m so cold.

JACK: You’re going to get out of this...they won't riff you, Rose. You’re going to go on and you’re going to deliver the best virtual offerings this world has ever seen and you're going to watch them grow and you’re going to retire an old lady, but no here...not as part of DXC's workforce reduction. Do you understand me?

ROSE: Jack, I gave DXC's article a thumbs up on linked in, so they could see it was me. I've done everything that was asked of me. Now look at me; it didn't work; nothing works. Everyone gets riffed in the end.

JACK: Rose, you got to stop talking like that. There's still a chance... even if the engine room is a legacy write-off, you got keep strong...

ROSE: I can’t feel my body.

JACK: Rose, listen to me. Getting riffed was the best thing that ever happened to me. It showed me new horizons out there. And I’m thankful, Rose. I’m thankful. You must do me this honor...promise me you will get out of DXC; that you will survive....that you will never give up...no matter what happens...no matter how hopeless...promise me now, and never let go of that promise.

ROSE: I promise.

JACK: Never let go.

ROSE: I promise. I will never let go, Jack. I’ll never let go.

Introducing the new, improved "MIKE II from Laurie H3LL - now we get it!"

Most of the articles on DXC's global digital platform are automated from third-party libraries (contributed to by professional bloggers who have probably never heard of DXC). They use social automation tools like hubspot, hootsuite and bufffer to automatically update all of DXC's digital outlets with new exclusive-rights articles each week. It wouldn't be worth DXC's time to write them themselves.

It keeps the DXC footprint keyword rich, to attract new victims. DXC get reports of conversion rates from search engines and social outlets and they monitor any crowdculture changes and other demographic indicators. Of course people help it along by either thanking the non-existent author; click on a DXC banner or drop-down, in the same way that people complete those innocent looking "I am not a robot" verification checks.
