Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

When a company restructures almost every other year...

...it's a huge sign of poor management and rampant nepotism. Every time a new crop of leaders come in, they bring a lot a bunch of their friends who are hired not because of their abilities or experience, but because they just happen to be buddies. It's wrecking havoc on the company and shouldn't be allowed, but is BD going to do anything about it or enable it? My guess is he'll enable it as evidence by the past 2 years....

AIG should be called American International Restructuring Group. Restructuring has been going on for many years and in the process we have lost a lot of talent and that have gone elsewhere and to competitors and will never ever come back to this environment

I think BD has demonstrated that he does the same. Look at all of the org changes he made since he came in. Dumped people and replaced with folks he knew and the same happened as a ripple effect down the management tree.

Managers/Leaders hired or put in their positions just a year or two (or less) ago are now gone.

Ever read that Edgar Allen Poe tale called "The descent into the maelstrom"?

You're living it at AIG. Welcome to hell.
