Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

To what extent was the Pittsburgh office hit today?

More happening in Pittsburgh today, seems like front office is getting hit. Does anyone know if they changed the severance? Have heard rumors it was changing to only 6 weeks, can anyone confirm that?

First of all, is this true? If it is, does anyone have any idea how many people were hit? Also, the question about severance that @VTGDW1p-1Pdiv asked interests me as well.

Severance didn't change, minimum 6 weeks is the plan. More layoffs coming in the next weeks. Charlie is creating a great atmosphere to work with a lot of hypocrisy: telling we should challenge each other more but if we challenge his ideas we are blamed for not being open to change.

I heard from my manager they are looking at changing to severance to a cap of 6 weeks but not until 2020.
