I don't understand why a person cannot go and retrieve their personal belongings. Suppose my $10,000 engagement ring that I was taking to be fixed was in my locked cabinet and never made it to my house? Or the cash I had just withdrawn from the bank too? How can a person be prevented from retrieving their own belongings?
Easy to say as a keyboard warrior. People are wusses around armed security though.
Being humiliated by being escorted out by security is more likely to make one go postal than being treated respectfully.
