Just heard various rumors from multiple people saying that IDC will not see any hikes this year.
Some are sti hopeful of a miracle end but thats very less number. Most seems to have accepted the fact that no hikes are coming.

Tell me why this myth is around that a "focal" = a raise? There's no connection at all that I've seen. Many groups don't do focals at all and most groups never give raises - whether or not you have a "good focal". There is no across the board raises -for merit or for cost of living, it's very arbitrary and only for a chosen few.
I'm guessing no raises anywhere in O this year, except maybe for critical "walk on water" types. It would explain the lack of focals.
