Customer Success is Dead

Oracle doesn’t care about customers and it was evident today with the changes made. This could have work. It’s industry best practices if launched and managed correctly. The problem wasn’t us (CSMs) the problem was Oracle management. You can not be successful if you reorganize every 6 months and change your vision.

Truly a shame. All the time and investment wasted.

Look at the Customer Success metrics MH measures, and try not to laugh.

MH always hated the idea that customer success is non-billable it because it increases "cost to serve". JO and TK sponsored it.

Once JO and TK left, the sponsorship for Customer Success in NA went away. The final straw was bringing in ex-Accenture leaders to run NAA Consulting (BB) and NATD Consulting (AM). They are probably whispering to MH "We should be charging for customer success".

Not making light of the hardship that will inflict on those who will be impacted, but the name “ Customer Success” in the broader context of what the 3 stooges are doing at oracle is a rather ironic oxymoron
