I gotta admit that reading this article made me sick. 400 mil for the paychecks and bonuses of only for people is disgraceful, especially keeping in mind that Oracle has been, pretty much, living of its all fame and has been a failing company in nearly every new market that it’s entered. Imagine what they would be asking for if they were more successful leaders.

and its looking more and more like no focal this year.
If line managers haven't processed the focal for their employees yet, there is about zero chance of a focal effective Jan 1. That could mean two things:
(1) no focal, period. Presumably no bonus either.
(2) it gets once again pushed out by a month or two, as has been standard practice for years.
In any case, unless they wanted to distribute TK's personal part of the compensation budget to the troops, it would likely be a tiny budget anyway, limited to a small subset of employees.
Feels good to be out and not have to worry about it anymore, though.
