Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

CFO of DXC Americas leaves the company

Another senior exec at DXC Technology's Americas operation has left the organisation: chief finance officer Matthew Neisler split on Friday, according to an internal memo.

In a note to the bean-counting department, enterprise veep and worldwide CFO Paul Saleh confirmed the departure.

The wave of executives that are abandoning the sinking ship continues. Can’t say a blame any of them. Just hope that these shifts in management don't produce reorgs of the workforce. Like we haven't had enough of that.

Yes I agree "@Wk8WNHb-1sur Why would we care? I'm very grateful that someone has done it, as it's the only way we find out any real information out about what's going on within DXC. If we had to only rely on official comms we'd think everything was great."

Where do some of the DXC Trolls get off blaming the workforce for this sh--show company failing? The leadership and management at all levels are responsible not the workers. Until they make a plan and admit their part in this debacle nothing will change! Lions led by Donkies! 🇬🇧

I don't think you'll find anyone these days not on the executive bonus plan who gives a monkeys when stuff is leaked to The Register.

Whilst loyalty to the company was always dubious, even the blind sheep now can see just how much this regime despises its workforce.

As such, there is glee when management take a custard pie to the face, even if it does result in a backlash of job losses - because we all know those job losses were coming ANYWAY.

Plus when Nick Wilson was head of the UK, it was great seeing yet another article about DXC and Nick in particular on El Reg, as he made it clear how much it annoyed him. I'd happily buy the leakers a pint to say thank you.

@1vwg Partly this is the way large IT corporates work, with one region subsidising other less well-performing regions. There have been occasions in the past when the UK has been able to weather storms better because of this arrangement.

Sadly neither investors or analysts care about regional performance. All they are after is overall revenue growth.

Until all the current changes have played out and the overall company is growing revenue the WFRs will continue.

90% of the managers ( of any level ), HR and top leadership are solely responsible for this mess.

Some DXC Bots on here! Workers dragging company down? Never heard such nonsense in my life, the workers have kept it going since it came into being, despite appalling leaders and managers! I feel sorry for anyone who has to soldier on here out of need.

Traitors dragging company down? The leadership and shareholders of this company are bringing it down, lying to and ripping customers off, and mistreating and abusing employees. I’ll give it two years and it will be gone, simples!

@Wk8WNHb-pzw Where to start?

Why would UK workers receive an email about an American leader leaving?

The only traitors in DXC can be found in HR and senior leadership.

If the rest of us have given up even pretending to care about DXC, well HR and senior leadership only have themselves to blame, it's their legacy of incompetence and greed that created the culture.

It's chaos in the Americas at present. Neisler only got the job in January, now he's gone and 3 other RGMs also went at the same time! DXC leadership is in turmoil.
