AWS is and has been looking for Oracle experience. In many different roles. Check out the job posts and apply. Many are and can be done remotely for the right person.

Wrong! There is no such policy. Some get hired and many won’t make it. They all get a fair shot.
Most Oracle employees can’t pass the phone screen much less the loop.

No hire from Oracle? Didn't they just hire their new cloud chief (TK) from Oracle?
Things may have changed recently but I know quite a few ex-Oracle folks that got hired by AWS. That being said, those were also ex Sun Microsystems folks. Draw your own conclusions.
Are you sure? I am told AWS has no hire from Oracle policy. Oracleites are not able to qualify the AWS leadership principles evaluation. At least in some Geo it is 'No Hire From Oracle'
