When will you be informed? When youre called in to your rif meeting.
How much is the STI?
When will we be informed?
Everyone is getting STI - even the non-performing units such as Investments and Finance - both of them didn't meet their numbers or goals and yet will get handsomely rewarded with fancy STI %s.
...bah humbug -- pencil pushers
75% on STI despite of losses.
The labor market is 'tight'!
All wrong. STI assured. Higher than predicted. TDC adjustments included.
Don't worry about the 24s, they get their STI.
Managers get a nice chunk for STI. They should be held at a higher standard to help those they manage do better. Again, my manager is very fair but still has her favorites and has typically compensated favorites more favorably.
Some more details about Sti have been posted on contact. Grade 20 is the split for when sti depends on performance of company
Read the 2013 Compensation Plan guidelines for STI.
when was it discussed?
STI has only been in existence for about 7 years. The company is losing big money each quater for the last 3 years. It has been discussed several times by AIG of getting rid of it. It's not a sure thing especially now days.
Why are you saying no STI this year? What's the basis?
When I was recruited three years ago, recruiter told me STI has always been paid out. Is there a precedence that STI was not paid out?
There will be STI bonuses this year but smaller than last year.
No STI this year
When AIG was in the 2008 mess I confirmed
Last year they still paid a portion of the STI. As the other person stated it’s based on pay grade. So the sky isn’t falling any faster than it was previously.
Are they happening is a good question. If we cannot even get any cash to celebrate the holidays I have serious doubts about the STI.
Are STIs happening?
Was STI paid during 2008 crisis or thereafter until 2010?
It’s all based on job grade. 22 and below will receive STI as usual or maybe a 90% rate. 23 and above will get severe reductions- anywhere from 50% to 0.
Wouldn't this FASB accounting rule affect the earnings by insurers?

The company had some $30B of exposure as per 9-Nov 13F holdings report filed with SEC. If unhedged, then as of today, most likely there is a 11% drawdown or $3.3B.
Let us hope that it is hedged and/or offset by the other securities (worth ~270B or 9x).
cheer up fellas...
