i've been told that there were supposed to be more layoffs in december but that mattel thought it would be better to wait until after the holidays, not because they are thoughtful or sensitive but because there was some benefit of taking the write off and loss in the new years. it figures especially now that they don't have to pay out the vaction time in the new year either.

when you get back in january you will likely have new owners and your vps will be putting lip gloss on to kiss the tuckusses of their new overlords.
What about the renovations at the EA Campus?

I think executives are very thoughtful! Letting the hopeless people build up more debt during the holidays and get rid of them when they come back in January, Just in time to show the shareholders a better number before release the horrible Q4 result. Wake up guys! Don't fool yourselves and believe things will turn around and get better.
