You are completely clueless. I was an excellent employee, no longer work there because of all the ridiculously toxic c-ap that goes on. Good employees leave companies where sh-- like that goes on.
Oracle is going down big time and instead of dusting off your resume and getting ready for the next gig, you are on here trying to make up sh--, so you can pretend you don't need to do anything and that nothing affects you.
You may feel secure with the current manager, but now imagine that some hand above him could come down at any time and sweep you into some other manager's group. If you've been screwing over other people in other groups, you may find yourself working with the very people you have been screwing over. Literally anything can change. You could end up anywhere.
Everyone needs to brush up on current skills and be prepared for anything, including working with your current enemies.
I prefer to work where I have no enemies.
