Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Do the executives have any moral compass?

Whoever thought the court would not approve the executive bonuses is either very naive or poorly informed. As disgusting as it is, this was expected. The company wants to prevent the executives from jumping ship in this critical situation and want to secure that they see this through to the end, whatever the outcome might be. The court also responds to this move considering it logical, o there was no question that the bonuses would be approved.

But for me, another question comes to mind. The very same people that brought Sears are now receiving rewards and none of them have any problem with it. Not even one of them turned the bonus down in the interest of a struggling company that made them rich in the first place. It makes me sick to think about what kind of people have we looked at as our leaders?

The whole bonus situation is a complete PR disaster because it's running in every media outlet, but Sears execs are beyond the point of caring, because they obviously know it's over

The top executives receiving these bonuses should be ashamed of themselves! They have done absolutely nothing to help bring this company out of bankruptcy and have done absolutely everything to put us into bankruptcy! Recent direction from top executives was to have every associate carry the 15/20 percent off flyers in their back pockets... seriously?! When the customers get to the registers they are lucky if we can process their transaction without the register freezing...these same executives continue to visit the stores offering no new direction or ideas.....they are a useless lot!

One of the docket filings said the company is experiencing a lot of attrition since the BK filing. Huge shocker.
