It’s not engineers or supervisors that need to go. It’s the ‘experts’ that never see the wellsite from one year to the next but sit in shiny offices discussing strategy and initiatives all day long
In NAM, 90% of rigs are laterals. These are mostly drilled as quickly and cheaply as possible. Open Hole logging business - Gone. [USITs comprise 65% of wireline rev$]. Pumping Services, now there's plenty of surplus with Keane Group (ex SLB guys) and Liberty OFS , plus HAL and BJ Services. You think this was unpredictable? Sure DELFI will result in market share. Meanwhile PK goes to Davos in Desert to stick his nose up MBS man dress. Wonder if he asked about Jamal, or killing Yemeni kids in a bus??
