Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

What is going on?

Hey all, anyone know what's is up with the RMD's for the Texas region up and quitting lately? There have been 4 or so in the last couple months, and now the head of the department put her notice in today after being with Humana for 25 years.

I keep my resume on the ready, but this is stressing me out. There is an all associate meeting on Monday, and since there is a contract that is USA exclusive (cannot go to Manila), that gives some sense of job security, but you never know! Maybe the RMD's are privy to more information than the rest of us and are jumping ship early?

Oh, not good!! Seriously, BIG whigs leaving the ship? If your alarms aren't going off yet, they need to be. If the biggest fish in the pond are running for cover.... what does that tell you? Two is coincidence, three is a pattern, more than that, that is a HUGE NEON SIGN!!! Get out, seriously, don't just be at the ready, be GONE from this insane company!!

Thanks for the info. I can imagine the RMD's have the ability to easily up and leave due to poor management, and not have too much of a problem finding a new job, makes sense. I will be interested to hear the spin on Monday.

Timing of directors departure is extremely suspicious. I suspect she was RIFed as her last day is 60 days from now. The medical directors that are leaving are saying they cannot work with their boss. Sit tight, region isn't going anywhere.
