Work can, and is moved from one office to another, all over the country, all the time, licensing issues permitting. It’s called workload balancing and the company built technology and processes to facilitate it. The fact that some claims are moved means nothing. That said, if the office is intentionally going down headcount, and that’s why the work is being moved, there may be something there.

Make sure you’re mobile.

Most offices are close to capacity, so it’s doubtful one office could absorb another.
