So the 180 positions that are support positions were laid off? What departments were they from?

There are some states where Humana is part of a multi-billion dollar state program where field positions need to be filled therefore the shifting of Field positions to make room in those states
Hi just wondering if any of the RIfs folks would identify their roles . I was riffed in the past and hope Lith wasn’t hit hard again.
They are restructuring and moving over 60 FCM's from the Field to Telephonic (20 permanent and 40 temporary). Those associates were not given an option. Was either do it or take a voluntary resignation with no compensation. Very little notice given so not even time to process the move. Guess it's better then a lay off for those but I anticipate the field in home programs will be dwindling until eventually they eliminate them. jmo
To the poster that referenced the holidays and RIFs , that’s a Humana steady ! Yep Happy Holidays !
What does hcs quality do? Didn’t those roles just start last year?
Will these people be able to collect in employment?
Frankly after watching them do this over the last few years I would almost welcome a RIF.
I thought that we were moving more toward in home services? Why are those eliminated?
It went beyond HAH. Positions in HCS Learning and HCS Quality and facilitation were also eliminated. About 20 in both of those teams.
Many were in LTIH.
Any notice of severance?
I never got a second email from Mr Fleming. How very frustrating
Look at the email sent out by WF
The email says it was the in home providers in FL and TX, so fcm and ltih, and 60 day notice for a RIF correlates to the contracts ending at the end of the year
fcms and managers for sure
Support staff? I am sorry. It's not like me to push panic buttons. I am in shock. Lots of families affected by these decisions before the holidays. Very hard. Disregard my former interpretation.
Does not sound like getting rid of whole program to me- more like got rid of support staff... I see nothing about getting rid of whole program in the email.
It says Humana at Home. It sounds like they are getting rid of the whole program?????
