Eight Honeywell Behaviours

When I was having my 1/1 with my Mgr today we touched on the 8 Behaviours and I remarked how General and Subjective they were and how can you measure performance off that and he said that they would be doing another stacked ranking this year. Which means someone's going to get Pip'd and a year from now they won't be here. I also remarked at the end about the 100 years+ experience that's thrown up their hands and walked out the door in the last year and a half and whether upper management cares about that?

During my PR in March, my manager told me I was pushing too hard to implement changes and that I should back off a little. I then reminded him that Business Excellence was one of the behaviors. I was the only one in my group to hit all my top performance objective. Yet others got promoted and I was still lower paid than my colleagues. Because of that, I left on my own.

Seems like the last behavior they care about is being a conscientious and productive worker. These 'behaviors' are very subjective in nature, the better to use to phony up a review to put you on a pip.

No. They don't care. They can find young pups to do their bidding at half the cost. Best thing to do is to accept it and find a small company that will appreciate your work.
