Band 4 Salary

What's the salary for Band 4. Cannot find this info online anywhere. My best bet, a layoff site? Go figure... Anyhow, please post if you have any info.

I went to band 4 fall 2014; $132k/year, systems engineer, 19 years. Pip’d for proven made- up lies in 2016; laid off early 2018.

If anyone is wondering, yes I went to HR with my proof that PIP allegations were false. They said it didn’t matter, my manager had to put someone on PIP, I was picked. / : Just saying that job performance has ZERO to do with getting put on PIP. Your age and your salary are what puts that wide target on your back.

Life is great now, wish I had left sooner but that severance package put me way ahead financially and I landed a new job with better salary and awesome company... at 60 years old.

Honeywell s---s, never stop looking to move on, you will be ready when it happens to you!

Band 4 definitely puts a target on your back. It’s worth it because of higher salary ranges. Just don’t get yourself into a situation where management will have any concerns about your performance or you’ll be a target for a PIP. In spite of what they say to the contrary, there is a quota for PIP letters. If you get one don’t fold up and wait for management to let you out of the doghouse. That just gives them leverage over you.

Agree that band 4 is a Target on your back. IMHO, not worth extra agrevation, unless u live to work. Or maybe live on testosterone and like a good fight once in a while.

Depends on the job. Isc used to have a range of 93 - 178k depending on the job

It's open season on Band 4's. It's no secret. Career expectancy is very short.

Band 4 goes from individual contributor level up to director and has different ranges. The country and state impacts the range also, and higher expense states like NJ and CA have higher band ranges than other areas, like AZ. It depends on what job you have since there is no one size fits all for band 4s. Some band ranges have been reduced in the past several years, as part of the cost containment. So the range depends on the job and location.

I was a band 4 engineer and made $118,000 then I got PIP’d. The 4 years following the PIP, I never saw a raise. Got laid off 2 years ago.
