Thread regarding Follett layoffs

So, these new Audits initiated by the Board....

What’s really going on with the recently announced audits? Quizzing Managers and their staff...seriously? This doesn’t pass the smell test.

The article was from 2015 and was not about the company being sold. Someone is just stirring the pot.

The audits force you to document your failures (caused by Ivory Tower) to justify your dismissal or miserable pay. No help, no budget for decent pt help. YOU are a failure! YOU own it!

Trying to audit things that staff has nothing to do with.. management doesn't get trained either. They get hired prior to rush, sink or swim and then asked to explain why something was off or wasn't done . Blame the lack of training! Blame the computer systems or lack there of.

Being bought out by another company isn't always bad, but who would want this train wreck? Pennies on the dollar ? I would gladly welcome better management if bought out!

Nothing better for the culture of a company than scare tactics. Wow....just keeps getting better. Anything mentioned about culture with this company is just talk.

I know nothing of the audits. However, someone had posted a 3rd party story about follett being for sale. Is this a due dilligence thing? Is this the board assessing what's real so they aren't sued for misrepresentation?
