Looks like 250 people were laid off this last week, including in TK’s development org, and cloud. That brings the total since 6/1/2016 to 19,850. Surely more layoffs coming down the pike. Keep looking for new jobs!

FInally getting it that competing against SFDC SaaS is a lost cause means Sales Cloud/CX teams are in the cross hairs. The realization that the same will be true for HCM Cloud versus WorkDay will take a while. TK is obsessed with HCM Cloud deals. Oracle's always been strong on ERP Financials, why that's not still a strategy priority beats me.
Oracle's become the Roseanne Barr of the SaaS world, - blurting out FUD nonsense about the competition like an over-medicated has-been who thinks they're witty and happening, preaching to a choir that's getting smaller and smaller. The cloud has changed the world for Oracle - in a bad way. 80,000 pound gorillas just don't cut it on reputation and promises any more.
